Abstract

This study aims to determine whether trust in websites in C2C e-commerce businessinfluences purchase intention for young consumers in Indonesia. This explanatory study involved 100 young consumers as respondents as primary data sources supported by secondary data. Primary data was collected through survey questionnaires with purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing is done by multiple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between integrity on purchase intention for young consumers. Other research results also show that ability and benevolence, each of which has a significant influence that encourages the creation of purchase intention for young consumers in the C2C ecommerce business in Indonesia.

Abstract

Complete document sets and availability ability tocapture business flow have been underestimated among small-medium business practitioners, affecting the bigger chance of unnecessary loss and increasing risks which prone to fraudulent acts both originally from internal and external parties. This research is equipped with interview transcript involving Mr. Daniel Ifianto, CEO (Chief Executive Operational) of CV. Mandiri Jaya Agro-business (MJA), and his wife as CFO (Chief FinancialOfficer, which main business activity is exporting paddy and corn seeds as respondents.). Second Entity, as the research object, is a CV. DCK which is an architecture and interior design company, Mr. DK.Research Method used is a qualitative study which isinvestigating monetary and operational fraud, errors, and omissionsoccurred both intentional and unintentionally related to the availability of complete documents and Standard Operating Procedure(SOP) application. The research finding shows that solutions were found through creating sets of document copies, authorizations, and document cycle movements concluding parties and people involved both internally and externally. The implication was fraud has been significantly reduced, and the owner feels that applying a complete set of documents andproper authorization has been useful for monitoring the organization itself before fraud happens.

Abstract

The State Civil Apparatus Management Information System, commonly called as SIM ASN, is used to manage staff data that contains all information about the State Civil Apparatus at the Ministry of Agriculture. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the success of SIM ASN, in accordance with DeLone and McLean’s information system success model (2003). Specifically, the purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of information quality,system quality, and service quality on use and user satisfaction. Analyze the effect of the use on user satisfactionand analyze the use and user satisfaction on net benefits. The respondents involved in this study are 142 users of the SIM ASN.This study was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that information quality, system quality, and service quality had a significant effect on user satisfaction, but only service quality had a significant effect on use;use does not have a significant effect on user satisfaction; use and user satisfaction have a significant effect on net benefits. By looking at the results, it can be concluded that the DeLone and McLean (2003) models were confirmed to be used in assessing the success of SIM ASN at the Ministry of Agriculture. Suggestion for further research is to develop a net benefit variable that is not only assessed on individuals but also benefits at the organizational level and needs research on the user competency model to find out competency standards for users of management information systems.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to test and explain the effect of service quality on customer satisfaction and word of mouth customers, as well as the effect of service quality on customer word of mouth mediated by customer satisfaction tutoring in Malang. The study population was students at the three biggest tutorings in Malang City who would take part in preparation for college admission selection in 2016. The research sample was 69 people who were determined by purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques using Partial Least Square ( PLS). The results showed that service quality had a significant effect on customer satisfaction and influenced the word of mouth of customers. However, customer satisfaction is not proven to mediate the influence of service quality on word of mouth because customer satisfaction does not have a significant effect on word of mouth. The quality of services provided by non-formal education in Malang City must be improved because it will have an impact on the increasing level of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Chili is classified as a commodity with high economic value and intensive labor absorption. The needs of farmworkerswere usuallygiven from labor in the household and labor outside the household of farmers by different distributions. The research aims to measure the utilization and distribution of labor in the cultivation of chili,determine the factors affecting the working time allocation of the labor in chili cultivation, and measure the feasibility of chili-based on labor productivity. This research was conducted in the Pakem District in Sleman D.I. Yogyakarta. The number of respondents selected in this study was 60 farmers. Thedesign of the study is descriptive analysis, use the Cobb-Douglas analysis functions and the analysis of the labor productivity index. The results showed that the allocation of working time on the farm was 49.70 HKP. Land factors and real wages are positively influential, while the education factor negatively affects the time of labor in the household. Chili cultivated in the Pakem District is feasible based on the productivity index. The Labor productivity index value is 2.81.

Abstract

The main purpose of this paper is to discuss and describe the factors causing taxpayers not to comply with tax obligations in accordance with Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 11 the Year 2016 regarding tax Amnesty, specifically taxpayers of Malang City, Batu City and Malang Regency. A total of 180 taxpayers who use the Tax Amnesty facility as respondents with purposive sampling criteria, WarpPLS 6.0 as a means of analyzing the mediation test influence of taxpayer awareness of tax compliance with ransom mediation. The results show that tax awareness and ransom influence tax compliance, tax awareness affects ransom. Ransom as a partial mediation can increase the influence of awareness of taxpayer compliance using the tax amnesty facility.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate competitive advantage as a mediator of the effect of market orientation on the marketing performance of Batik UKM in Malang. The population of this research is 100 batik SME owners in Malang. Sampling in this study uses saturated / census sampling, meaning that all populations are used as samples so that the sample of this study amounted to 100 respondents. Data analysis uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that there was a direct and positive influence of market orientation on the marketing performance of batik SMEs in Malang City and the competitive advantage was able to mediate the influence of market orientation on the marketing performance of batik SMEs in Malang City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze perceptions and expectations on SMIs and establish strategies and policies to develop SMI marketing performance. The sample used in this research was 200 SMIs registered in the Department of Industry and Trade of Bandung. The method used was quantitative methods, survey, and descriptive research. The data was collected through questionnaires and interviews with the Head of the Department of Industry and Trade and the business managers. The testsconducted werevalidity and reliability test,while the scale used was the Likert Scale. The strategy implementation was analysed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the study show that the performance of food and non-food SMIs could be improved and developed.therefore, SMIs have to do several things, namely developing their marketing goals, developing their marketing areas, setting prices according to the packaging, developing their marketing channels, and maintaining product characteristics. The method of marketing used by the sample is good. The strategies used by food and non-food SMIs lie on the top priority quadrants by making continuous improvements so that the level of marketing performance increases. The sample developed its marketing objectives and marketing areas by taking into account the desires and needs of consumers. The business managers of food and nonfood SMIs should: improve their marketing method through concepts, strategies, and market intelligence as well as maximize the use of the internet. Meanwhile, future researchers are suggested to expand research locations and add innovation and creativity variables to obtain better and comprehensive results.

Abstract

Companies need to understand the customers’ data better in all aspects. Detecting similarities and differences among customers, predicting their behaviors, proposing better options and opportunities tocustomers became very important for customer-company engagement. Companies need a database of customer that contains customer information in detail, one of which is data about the potential value of each customer.Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) measures the potential value of each customer from the perspective of a service or product provider.This study aims to analyze Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) of the customer and clustering it into customer segmentation using the K-means cluster method.The results showed the highest average CLV value with is Rp 19,170,991,- and the lowest average value is -Rp 112,566,-. The customer clustering produced in this study isfour segmentswith the majority of customers at cluster 3 segment low with 51 unit population.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of inventory control methods of always better control (ABC), economic order quantity (EOQ), and reorder point (ROP) supported by a computer-based daily stock information system of drugs and consumable medical devices on the emptiness of drugsfrequency and vital types of medical devices use at the Bangil Hospital Pharmacy Installation.This type of quantitative research uses a preexperimental design with one group pre and post-test design. Data analysis using t-test and normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test. The sample data used were emptiness drugs and vital consumables, with observations of vacancy data from May 2016 to May 2017, nine months before the intervention and three months after the intervention, the effects were analyzed using the t-test.The results show that there is a significant influence on the use of inventory control methods to reduce the frequency of emptiness of drugs and vital types of consumables. If there are emptiness drugs, make other efforts in fulfilling drug procurement.
